Fidelis Cybersecurity has established a regional office in the U.K. as part of its efforts to grow the company’s European client base and offer channel partners with technology platforms designed to detect and prevent cyber attacks.
The company said Friday it appointed Paul Roberts, a former regional director at Arbor Networks, as regional vice president to lead Fidelis’ new facility in Fleet, England.
Roberts, who spent a decade at British telecommunications firm BT, will oversee Fidelis’ sales strategy, channel partnerships and corporate expansion in his new position.
Peter George, president and CEO of Fidelis Cybersecurity, said the company’s expansion efforts in the European market is part of a push to help customers protect their data networks and critical infrastructure from cyber threat actors.
The company plans to introduce the latest versions of the Fidelis Endpoint and Fidelis Network platforms at the three-day Infosecurity Europe 2016 conference that will kick off Tuesday in Olympia London.
