CH2M will work to provide program support and consulting services to a Colorado Department of Transportation-led initiative that seeks to update the state’s transportation system through the adoption of emerging technology platforms.
The company said Wednesday Colorado DOT’s RoadX program seeks to address congestion and ensure safety across the state’s 23,000 miles of highways and bridges through the implementation of a multi-pronged strategy that involves the elements of deployment, operations, innovation and technology.
Colorado DOT will work with public and private sectors to field several technology tools and implement programs through 2018 as part of the DO-IT approach, the company said.
