A Chemring Group subsidiary has received a $29 million order to provide non-standard ammunition to the U.S. Defense Department.
Chemring said Wednesday the order marks the second delivery order the company received under a five-year indefinite-delivery, indefinite-quantity contract awarded in March.
DoD initially ordered $18 million in ammunition from the company’s military products business.
Chemring and Orbital ATK hold positions on the potential $750 million contract.
