Kay Kapoor, president of global public sector solutions at AT&T, has received recognition from Profiles in Diversity Journal as one of the winners of the 15th Annual Women Worth Watching Awards.

The awards recognize a total of 162 nominees as the 2016 winners, who will be featured in the 2016 Women Worth Watching magazine edition in September, the Profiles in Diversity Journal said Tuesday.

Profiles in Diversity Journal has been profiling leaders, programs and individual projects meant to help advance diversity in the corporate, government, nonprofit, STEM and higher education sectors.

Kapoor is also an inductee into Executive Mosaic’s 2016 edition of the Wash100.

She also won Women in Technology’s 2016 Leadership Award in May for the corporate large market sector category for her work in the technology industry.
