The U.S. General Services Administration has awarded American Systems a five-year, $10 million task order to extend its integrated test, evaluation and analytical support services to the U.S. Air Force Medical Evaluation Support Activity at Fort Detrick, Maryland.
American Systems said Monday its serviecs will include program management, operational tests and market research-early acquisition program test support to the Defense Department‘s Operational Medicine Government Approved Lab.
Peter Smith, American Systems president and CEO, said the company aims to help AFMESA carry out independent operational test and evaluation for customer medical requirements to support soldiers.
GSA awarded the task order under its One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services contract vehicle for professional services.
