Rockwell-collins - ExecutiveMosaicRockwell Collins has supplied 1,400 anti-jamming and anti-spoofing GPS receivers to the U.S. Air Force‘s Special Operations Command and Air Combat Command under a follow-on order.

The company said Monday its Remote Secure Receivers are designed with the Selective Availability Anti-Spoofing Module that works to help military personnel secure their smartphones, tablets, radios and vehicle computing systems.

Rockwell Collins has built and delivered 1,800 RSRs to AFSOC and ACC to date.

Mike Jones, Rockwell Collins vice president and general manager for communication and navigation products, said the company developed its RSR technology for military customers to protect positioning, navigation and timing data in their commercial devices.

Jones added that many Joint Terminal Attack Controllers, Tactical Air Control Party forces and dismounted soldiers also use the receivers.
