The Department of Veterans Affairs looks to acquire predictive and simulation modeling, database assimilation, econometric and analytical consulting services as part of an effort to help improve benefits and service delivery to current and former U.S. military personnel and their family members.
The VA said in request for information posted Monday on FedBizOpps the Veterans Benefits Administration aims to implement a quantitative system to predict benefits demand, measure output capacity and identify the socioeconomic impact of agency services.
“This project will allow VBA to create an integrated format for demand forecasting, determine the interdependencies between [line of business]Â activities and evaluate resource prioritization,” the department noted.
VBA is interested in partnering with a contractor to develop a project management plan and demand prediction and organizational capacity models as well as facilitate enterprise-wide impact assessments and manage a veteran outcome measurement system.
