Motorola Solutions and Singapore Technologies Electronics have partnered to develop secured communications technology offerings for public safety, national security and enterprise applications.
The companies aim to produce broadband, cybersecurity and purpose-built applications that will be available to first responders, Motorola Solutions said Tuesday.
Eduardo Conrado, executive vice president of strategy and innovation office at Motorola Solutions, said the partnership aims to help “protect the security and stability of our cities.”
Motorola and ST Electronics plan to co-create applications with the use of the former company’s Convergence suite of WAVE interoperability and Intelligent Middleware products.
The collaboration will also leverage security tools designed to help organizations maintain communications integrity, protect operational intelligence and counter cyber threats.
