Mercury Systems has been awarded a $4.7 million contract to build digital transceivers intended to support electronic warfare missions at a government-run facility.
The company said Wednesday it booked the order in the fourth quarter of its 2016 fiscal year 2016 and is scheduled to deliver the transceivers to the facility over the next several quarters.
Charlie Hudnall, vice president and general manager for the embedded sensor products group of Mercury System, said the company designed its transceivers to help defense customers manage electromagnetic spectrum operations.
