International SOS has obtained a certification from the International Organization for Standardization to recognize the company’s efforts to integrate an information security management system into its business processes and systems and controls design.
The company said Tuesday it secured the ISO/IEC 27001:2013 certification after the British Standards Institution assessed processes and management structure at International SOS.
The achievement indicates that International SOS-built digital products TravelTracker, Assistance App, TravelReady and Communications Portal comply with ISO’s information security management
International SOS noted its global business lines are ISO 9001:2008-certified for integrated quality management system while its assistance center located in London holds ISO/TS 13131:2014 ED1 certification for telehealth services.
