Global Tel Link has received a contract from the General Services Administration via the agency’s IT Federal Supply Schedule 70 to offer the company’s in-house developed jail management system in the U.S. public sector.
The Offender Management System is available for all federal, state and local government authorized users of IT Schedule 70 to be sold at GSA-approved prices, the company said Friday.
Brian Oliver, CEO at GTL, said OMS currently manages one in four inmates housed in county and private facilities in the U.S. and its availability on the GSA ITÂ Schedule 70Â looks to provide correctional facilities access to a contract vehicle with pre-negotiated prices.
GTL added the company has offered its services on the GSA Advantage platform as part of efforts to expedite government purchase.
The Offender Management System manages information on all aspects of an inmate’s incarcerations from intake to release including charges, sentencing, property, housing, medical, meal planning, scheduling and other data with web-based technology and digital fingerprints in compliance with the American Correctional Association standards.
