The Defense Department‘s F-35 joint program office seeks information on potential vendors that can provide knowledge-based information technology support to F-35 Lightning II joint strike fighter and related air system programs.
JPO and the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division will collaborate to identify qualified providers for an upcoming contract, which could have a ceiling value of $160 million over five years, the Department of the Navy said Monday in a FedBizOpps notice.
DON listed the following basic tasks as under the scope of the F-35 JPO’s IT support needs:
- Program management
- Enterprise Architecture and emerging capabilities and testing
- Infrastructure engineering
- IT operations management
- Helpdesk and training
- Data, knowledge and application management
- Information assurance
- Information and cybersecurity services for F-35 JPO foreign liaison offices
Each individual task may relate to the office’s domestic and international partners and foreign military clients on the joint fighter program, according to the notice.
Interested parties can submit their responses to the RFI through June 3.
