The Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency is set to sponsor a Proposers Day from June 22 to 23 to inform industry on the objectives of an upcoming Defense Sciences Office broad agency announcement.
DARPA said Wednesday the event is intended to discuss basic or applied research ideas in mathematics, modeling and design; physical systems; human-machine systems; and social systems.
The agency will use the research concepts gathered from the Proposers Day to help address various U.S. national security requirements.
The event will also serve to facilitate opportunities for networking and for discussing DARPA programs and collaboration initiatives, the agency added.
DARPA will hold the event at its conference center in Arlington, Virginia.
DSO aims to identify and pursue research efforts that cover the science and engineering disciplines and to mature these concepts into technologies for use in U.S. national security programs.
