CACIÂ International will offer logistics and operations services to Air Combat Command, U.S. Central Command and other geographic combatant commands under a $975 million contract the U.S. Air Force awarded in February.
The company said Tuesday it will work to support CENTCOM and its military and civilian partner agencies in missions to combat illegal narcotics activities and the subsequent involvement of criminal, terrorist and militant organizations.
CACI President and CEO Ken Asbury said the company aims to help the Defense Department agencies defeat national security threats that are backed by illegal drug trade.
The company further noted the seven-year, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract works to support efforts to expand its business particularly in the logistics and material readiness market.
CACI is one of 15 companies awarded spots in the Air Force contract.
