Xerox has deployed its software tools in Manatee County, Florida, to assist jurors in the completion of the check-in process online.
The Manatee County Clerk’s office began to implement Xerox’s AgileJury and eJuror software in January to help summoned jurors submit documents or request deferrals online, Xerox said Thursday.
Louis Schiavone Jr., managing director for Xerox local government solutions, said AgileJury works to streamline the jury administration process so that clerks can focus on other tasks.
eJuror works to support communications between the jurors and the Manatee County Clerk’s office, added clerk Angelina Colonneso.
Xerox noted the tools’ deployment aims to facilitate accuracy of data and efficient check-in on jury days.
The company also launched a Florida baseline to help other clerk’s offices in the state implement the software.
