Sweden-based defense and security services company Saab Group has inked a three-year agreement with the country’s defense material administration agency to provide continued air traffic systems maintenance and upgrade services.
The contract covers technical support, system coordination and infrastructure development for the air traffic management and airport systems of all airports and air bases of the Swedish air force, Saab said Tuesday.
Saab added that the deployed air traffic management system would include several products from the company’s portfolio in an effort to integrate various air traffic systems.
The agreement, which also includes replacement of equipment and system verification, would run through 2021 if a three-year extension option is exercised.
