Paoli, Pennsylvania-based waste management service company JDog Junk Removal & Hauling has appointed Al Gourlay to its joint chiefs advisory board.
The U.S. Marine Corps veteran joins the team of advisers comprised of military veterans and entrepreneurs who provide counsel to the company and its franchisees, JDog Junk Removal said Wednesday.
Jerry Flanagan, JDog founder and CEO, said the veterans in the joint chiefs advisory board aid in the company’s efforts to address veteran unemployment and provide leadership to its franchisees.
Gourlay reached the rank of sergeant major during his stint with the USMC and served in three infantry battalions and as a support contractor for the Marine Corps System Command.
JDog Junk Removal & Hauling offers franchising opportunities to military veterans and their families to provide services such as residential and commercial junk removal, estate & foreclosure clean outs, labor services, recycling, industrial clean outs, light hauling small deliverables and donation transport.
