Raytheon has been awarded a potential $18.7 million U.S. Navy contract to provide science and technology research support for the Network Cooperative Radar Program.
The Defense Department said Monday Raytheon’s integrated defense systems business unit will perform design and development work for the program in Tewksbury, Massachusetts.
The contract will run through July 9, 2018, if the option is exercised.
The contract was awarded through a competitive procurement under an Office of Naval Research broad agency announcement with five proposals received, DoD said.
