PubNub Delivers Encrypted Data Streaming Technology to In-Q-Tel

PubNub has delivered an encrypted data streaming technology product to intelligence community investment arm In-Q-Tel for the latter’s customers to have a product they can host and manage on their premises and private disconnected networks.

San Francisco-based PubNub said Monday the on-premise deployment aims to serve as a proof of concept for future implementations of the technology for companies and organizations that require data stream hosting on their privately-owned networks.

In-Q-Tel acquired a product similar to the company’s PubNub Data Stream Network for enterprise customers, PubNub said.

PubNub added its technology works to meet Transport Layer Security and Advanced Encryption Standard encryption guidelines.

AES encryption requires users to create, store and manage their own encryption keys as a measure to safeguard against decryption or data access from third parties such as PubNub.
