Suwanee, Georgia-based live fire simulations systems provider Meggitt Training Systems will unveil its new virtual training system at the ITEC 2016 conference in May.
Meggitt said Tuesday it will debut the FATS 100e, an extension of the FATS M100, that will demonstrate features such as Crytek-based three-dimensional marksmanship, automatic coaching and Virtual Battlespace 3-based collective training,
“Training requirements and budgetary challenges are becoming more rigorous,†said Larry Raines, vice president of virtual systems at Meggitt Training Systems.
Winn Hines, Meggitt Training Systems director of virtual sales, said the product works to meet the instructional requirements of combat forces including the U.S. Army and U.S. Marine Corps through its technological development.
FATS 100e is also built to give users detailed terrains and targets and to contain both weather and environment visual effects.
Meggitt added that the product offers solid weapon handling, shot placement analytics and detailed graphics along with coaching tools in an effort to advance the training system platform.
