Mabbett & Associates has been awarded a $15.4 million contract to provide environmental management advisory and technical assistance services to the Missile Defense Agency.
The Defense Department said Friday the company will help MDA develop a comprehensive environmental planning, compliance and sustainability framework for its Ballistic Missile Defense System and other emerging weapon programs.
Work will take place in Huntsville, Alabama, and at Fort Belvoir in Virginia through July 2021.
MDA has obligated $100,000 in fiscal 2016 research, development, test and evaluation funds at the time of award.
Bedford, Massachusetts-based Mabbett & Associates is a service-disabled, veteran-owned company that provides environmental, health and safety consulting and engineering services to government and commercial clients.
