A Lockheed Martin business unit has landed a $21.9 million contract from the U.S. Navy for logistics maintenance and support services for as many as 400 Consolidated Automated Support System stations.
Lockheed’s mission systems and training business will also provide support for 150 reconfigurable, transportable CASS stations, the Defense Department said Monday.
DoD added that the Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division will obligate $16.7 million from fiscal 2016 working capital funds.
Lockheed will perform work in Florida, Missouri, California, Massachusetts and other locations within the U.S. through October 2016.
The contract also combines purchases from the Navy and U.S. Marine Corps along with requests from the governments of Kuwait, Australia, Malaysia, Finland and Italy.
The CASS test equipment suite works to provide intermediate-, depot- and factory-level support for Navy electronics systems installed on aircraft, ships and submarines.
The Navy’s aviation unit uses 713 CASS stations.
