Jonathan Chadwick – formerly executive vice president, chief financial officer and chief operating officer at VMware — has joined the board of directors of Cognizant Technology.
Chadwick will also serve on Cognizant’s audit committee and as a board member until the company’s annual stockholders’ meeting later this year, Cognizant said Tuesday.
“Jonathan brings a wide range of expertise as a technology, finance and operations executive to the Cognizant board,” said Francisco D’Souza, Cognizant CEO.
Chadwick served as CFO at Skype and a corporate VP for Microsoft since the software company bought Skype in October 2011.
Prior to Skype, he served as EVP and CFO of McAfee between June 2010 and February 2011.
He also served in financial positions at Cisco, worked for accounting firm Coopers & Lybrand and served as chairman of the audit committee of F5 Networks’ board.
