Marilyn Crouther, senior vice president and general manager of Hewlett Packard Enterprise‘s public sector, has received recognition from FedScoop as part of an annual list of notable female executives in the Washington government information technology community.
FedScoop said Thursday that Crouther and 49 other women honorees have demonstrated leadership in efforts to help federal agencies to carry out IT transformation initiatives.
She told FedScoop in an interview published Tuesday that HPE’s public sector business has focused on collaborating with customer agencies that aim to adopt a hybrid digital infrastructure, secure their enterprise systems and leverage data to make decisions.
Crouther, a 2016 Wash100 recipient, previously was SVP and GM of the original Hewlett-Packard company’s public sector segment before she transitioned to similar roles at HPE, one of the two entities formed out of a company split-up in late fiscal 2015.
The 27-year company veteran has supported business development, expansion and customer partnership initiatives throughout her career there.
