Earl Matthews, a vice president at Hewlett Packard Enterprise, has said agencies and companies should create a workplace culture that will encourage employees to be more aware of cybersecurity risks at the organizations, GCN reported Wednesday.

Derek Major writes Matthews, VP of enterprise security solutions for HPE’s U.S. public sector business, told FireEye‘s Insider Threat Summit Tuesday he believes that a cybersecurity culture should start with leaders of a company or an agency.

He added the company holds training sessions to educate staff members about potential cyber threats, according to the report.

The report said some government security officers have warned of social engineering campaigns that some hackers use to carry out attacks.
