A Fidelis Cybersecurity-designed threat defense offering has been added to the Defense Department’s list of products certified for interoperability and information assurance via an assessment stage.
DoD approved the Fidelis Network product for deployment within defense agencies and networks as it has been included in the department’s Unified Capabilities Approved Products List, Fidelis said Monday.
Kurt Bertone, chief technology officer at Fidelis Cybersecurity, added that federal agencies will be able to speed up the deployment of Fidelis Network in order to detect advanced malware, exploits and command-and-control activity.
“Attackers relentlessly target government agencies in pursuit of proprietary and top secret information,†said Bertone.
Fidelis demonstrated the product’s design and compliance with DoD security functional requirements during the review process.
