Comtech Telecommunications has collected $14.3 million in orders from the Defense Department during the third quarter of its fiscal year 2016 for communications services by the company’s government solutions unit.
The company will use the funds to provide training services, ground satellite terminal field support and tactical communications systems that work to provide multimedia communications functions, Comtech said Monday.
$8.4 million of the orders is for the tactical communications systems, $3.1 million is for satellite terminal field support and $2.8 million is for training.
Stanton Sloane, Comtech president and CEO, said the company looks to continue its support services for the U.S. military services and meet advanced communication service requirements for their missions.
