CobhamLogo1 - ExecutiveMosaicCobham, through its Aeroflex Colorado Springs business, will compete for task orders to help the Defense Microelectronics Activity in its efforts to develop technology insertions and applications for the Defense Department under a contract awarded earlier this month.

The company said Thursday its semiconductor solutions business will work to address issues with electronic systems hardware and software under the potential $7.2 billion Advanced Technology Support Program IV contract.

Jill Kale, president of Cobham’s advanced electronic solutions sector, said the company will work to share its electronics portfolio with DMEA through the indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract vehicle.

Aeroflex will run the ATSP4 contract and will provide manufacturing, electronics components, testing and subsystems design support to DMEA.

The company was one of eight companies DMEA selected this month for the ATSP4 program.
