The U.S. Air Force has awarded Cessna Aircraft a $14.1 million foreign military sales contract to modify six company-built aircraft for Pakistan’s aeromedical evacuation missions.
Cessna will deliver modified versions of two 208B Grand Caravan EX and four T-206H Stationair planes to Pakistan under the firm-fixed-price contract, the Defense Department said Wednesday.
The company will also provide sustainment support for each aeromedical evacuation aircraft over a 24-month period as well as pilot and maintenance training to the country’s army.
Work is scheduled to occur through Dec. 30, 2016, at a company facility in Wichita, Kansas.
