Centerra Group subcontractor to CGH Global has been given a five-year, $18 million contract to provide emergency management services at the Cavalier Air Force Station effective beginning May 1.
Centerra said Friday that it will provide its fire protection, fire prevention, fire protection engineering, emergency response and aircraft rescue and firefighting services as it serves the role of fire protection and emergency services contractor for the air force station.
Cavalier Air Force Station houses 36 active military personnel plus families from the 10th Space Warning Squadron of Peterson Air Force Base and the 21st Space Wing-operated Perimeter Acquisition Radar Characterization System used for space surveillance.
Centerra also offers nuclear security protection, federal and commercial security, base operations and support, facilities maintenance, construction and training services to its federal, commercial, higher education, independent, non-profit as well as state and local agency clients.
