Acquia has received a Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program authority-to-operate designation fromÂ the Treasury Department to offer two of theÂ company’sÂ cloud servicesÂ inÂ the public sector.
Boston-based AcquiaÂ company said Monday itÂ will provide itsÂ Acquia Cloud Enterprise and Acquia Cloud Site FactoryÂ to agencies in a suite ofÂ cloud services designed to featureÂ layers of firewall, multi-factor authentication, vulnerability management, security incident response, backups and disaster recovery to meet security requirements.
â€œFederal agencies are reinventing how they deliver services and information,”Â Todd Akers, vice president of the public sector atÂ Acquia.
Akers added theÂ Acquia Platform seeksÂ to comply with the changingÂ standardsÂ of government agencies.
Acquia lists the JusticeÂ Department,Â Australia’s government, theÂ state of New York, andÂ Los Angeles as among the more than 4,000 organizations that useÂ its open cloud platform.
