Parsons has appointed Amardeep Grewal as vice president of project development and will work to identify investment, partnership and bid opportunities for the Pasadena, Calif.-based engineering and construction services contractor.
Grewal holds 17 years of project finance market experience and has worked with both private and public sector entities to carry out transactions, Parsons said Tuesday.
“Increasingly, provincial and state governments are using public-private partnerships to build and replace critical infrastructure,†said Dean Harwood, Parsons’ executive vice president of operations.
“Amardeep’s expertise in project finance and P3s will help Parsons’ customers develop and implement these projects.â€
Grewal previously worked as co-head of infrastructure finance for a global specialist banking group where he was a founding member of the bank’s Canadian operations, the report said.
