San Jose, Calif.-based storage and virtualization company Nutanix will formally open a new facility in Tysons Corner, Virginia on Tuesday to serve as the main hub for federal government and commercial business operations on the East Coast.
Dheeraj Pandey, chairman and CEO of Nutanix, said in a release issued Wednesday that the company aims to have increased focus and presence in the Washington, D.C. region.
Pandey added the company will work to deliver its enterprise cloud computing platform to address customer demand data center optimization, modernization and migration tools and services.
Nutanix will hold a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony for the site at 7900 Westpark Drive in McLean, Va.
The company works with customers to converge their computing, virtualization and storage resources in a cloud environment.
