MobileIron is in the process of obtaining two security certifications for its mobile device management platform, Fedscoop reported Tuesday.
The Mountain View, Calif.-based company’s MobileIron Core tool is under review by the National Information Assurance Partnership and the National Security Agency, Greg Otto writes.
NIAP — a joint venture of NSA and the National Institute of Standards and Technology — issued MobileIron’s Core with a protection profile for mobile device management.
NSA also evaluated the platform through its Commercial Solutions for Classified program that clears firms based on their capability to secure national security classified information.
Dean Scontras, director of federal sales for MobileIron, told Fedscoop the company also expects to receive the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program certification for its Government Cloud by December, the report said.
