New York City-based communications services provider MetTel has received a contract extension from the U.S. General Services Administration to provide the company’s telecommunications and wireless network services to federal agencies.
The company said Tuesday it will add new voice and data services, SIP trunking, telecommunications expense management software, new wireless offerings and expanded professional IT services to its work for agencies as it pushes to expand federal services.
MetTel also will continue its DSL, MPLS and voice and wireless services under the IT Schedule 70 contract extension.
Keith Hochstin, MetTel’s vice president of strategic client development, said the company views the extension as part of its push to expand its customer base in the federal government market.
The company received its position on the IT Schedule 70 contract 2011 and the extension covers work through July 11, 2021.
