MantechLogo1ManTech International has said Stephen Porter will retire from his post in the company’s board of directors and that he will soon serve as Mantech’s first director emeritus.

The Fairfax, Virginia-based company said Thursday Porter will continue to contribute his business insights and company knowledge to the board under the new role.

“We owe a debt of gratitude to Steve for his dedication to the company… Steve served on our board for nearly a quarter century,” said ManTech Chairman and CEO George Pedersen.

“His judgment and integrity helped guide ManTech’s evolution from a $100 million Navy-focused government contractor to the $1.6 billion public company we are today.”

Porter served as a director at ManTech since 1991 and is also a managing director of the real estate investment firm Four Points Development and an executive committee member of the District of Columbia Chamber of Commerce.
