Lockheed Martin has selected John Mollard, vice president of financial planning and analysis, to serve as both VP and treasurer as well as a newly elected corporate officer beginning April 4.
The company said Monday Mollard will be in charge of its LMC Properties subsidiary and global banking activity and oversee treasury operations, rating agency relations, capital planning and risk management.
“John’s extensive background and understanding of our business culture are valuable assets that will provide continuity to our global banking operations,” said Marillyn Hewson, Lockheed chairman, president and CEO and an inductee into Executive Mosaic‘s Wash100 for 2016.
Mollard will succeed Ken Possenriede, who has been assigned VPÂ of finance and business operations for Lockheed’s aeronautics business in Fort Worth, Texas.
Mollard has held his current role at Lockheed’s headquarters in Bethesda, Maryland, since 2003.
He joined Lockheed as a financial analyst for the mission systems business in 1983 and has since held various finance-related positions in the company.
