Kratos Defense and Security Solutions has said it will participate in a Trabus Technologies-led team that holds a potential $12.6 million U.S. Navy contract to provide services for airborne communications and networking systems.
Kratos said Monday the contract will support Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific Code 551 until March 2019 if all options are exercised.
The contract was awarded to Trabus March 7 with a base value of $7.4 million, one-year base period and two one-year option periods, ExecutiveBiz reported March 8.
Timothy Harmon, vice president of Kratos’ military services business unit, said Kratos has experience in satellite communications systems engineering, design and analysis support services to the Navy.
