The Department of Health and Human Services plans to hold an industry day event on April 6 to examine and discuss commercial contract writing systems with companies.
HHS and industry will jointly explore contract writing products focused on purchase requests, solicitations, awards, modifications, invoices and receipts during the event to be held at the National Institutes of Health Fisher Lane Conference Center in Rockville, Maryland, HHS said in a notice released Wednesday.
The event will also serve as a venue for industry to demonstrate technologies meant to carry out tasks related to contracting, procurement and acquisition, and methodologies designed to integrate with HHS legacy systems.
HHS also intends for the event to gather information about technologies in current use across federal departments and agencies, and seek ideas for future investment and acquisition strategies.
Participants could also forge partnerships during the event in support of acquisition lifecycle management services development.
