Four employees at the nonprofit technology and research organization Mitre Corp. have received the 2016 BEYA Awards for their professional accomplishments during a conference in Philadelphia sponsored by Career Communications Group.
CCG presented the Senior Investigator Award to Mallik Rao and the Modern-Day Technology Leader Awards to Diane Hanf, Carla Kendrick and Gina Guillaume-Joseph during the 2016 BEYA (becoming everything you are) Awards STEM (science, technology, engineering and math) conference, Mitre said Tuesday.
“Mitre was honored to have four employees recognized at this year’s event,†said Julie Gravallese, vice president and chief human resources officer at the nonprofit.
The annual event convenes engineering and information technology professionals and students with the goal to explore opportunities for minority groups and women in the U.S. technology sector.
Rao is responsible for model based systems engineering projects, Hanf for the agile and adaptive software engineering technology division of the National Security Engineering Center, Kendrick for an Internal Revenue Service enterprise architecture project and Guillaume-Joseph for systems engineering initiatives.
