Lockton has named Jeff Purdy as the new leader of its government contracting practice.
Purdy brings Lockton more than 25 years of experience in the corporate risk management and insurance field from his previous work with government contractors, Lockton said Tuesday.
“Jeff Purdy is a widely respected risk professional who understands first-hand the challenging risks that government contractors face,” said Bob Connolly, president of Lockton’s operations in Washington.
“We know that our clients will embrace his practical approach and will benefit from his experience to make their own businesses better.”
Purdy previously held the risk management director position at Computer Sciences Corporation from November 2008 and spent 10 years prior as an insurable risk and investment management director at BAE Systems.
