Douglas Manya, formerly vice president, deputy general counsel and secretary at Booz Allen Hamilton, has joined LGS Innovations in February as executive VP, general counsel and secretary.
Manya is responsible for the legal, corporate governance, contractual and procurement regulation compliance activities of the company, LGS said Wednesday.
He succeeds Michael Garson, who will remain as the company’s chief administrative officer.
LGS CEO Kevin Kelly said Manya’s background in government contracting and mergers and acquisitions works to align with the company’s communications, networking and cybersecurity business.
Manya most recently worked to support the executive management and board of directors of Booz Allen on corporate governance and operational concerns.
He previously practiced law with Howrey & Simon and is a member of the bar in Virginia and Washington D.C.
