Craig Martin, a former president and CEO of Jacobs Engineering, has been elected to join the board of directors of the Falls Church, Virginia-based IT services company CSRA.
The 30-year professional services industry vet will join CSRA to provide his technical expertise in the business, the company said Tuesday.
“We’re excited that Craig is joining CSRA’s board of directors,” said CSRA Chairman Mike Lawrie.
Lawrie said the company hopes Martin’s experience and leadership will play a role in CSRA’s strategies for evolution and growth.
Martin was a senior adviser for Jacobs until his retirement in December.
He was a member of the company’s board of directors since 2002 and served simultaneously as president and CEO between 2006 and 2014.
He has held several roles for CRSS and Martin K. Eby Construction prior to Jacobs and has a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from the University of Kansas and a master’s degree from the University of Denver.
