Brian Mathis, a 30-year environmental services veteran, has been appointed vice president of northwest operations at SN3, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries.
His responsibilities will include oversight of SN3’s work at the Energy Department-run Hanford nuclear reservation complex in Washington and at the Idaho National Laboratory, HII said Wednesday.
“Brian brings a wealth of knowledge, talents and management skills to the job,” noted Nick Lombardo, SN3 president.
Mathis most recently served as assistant VP of Hanford operations at the organization for two years.
His more than three-decade industry experience includes work to manage decommissioning of more than 70 nuclear installations and cleanup of more than 100 contaminated sites in the U.S.
