Booz Allen Hamilton aims to help the Defense Department‘s Information Analysis Centers develop cyber countermeasures through the company’s position on a potential five-year, $5 billion contract the U.S. Air Force awarded in November.
The company said Thursday it will collaborate with DoD IACs to identify and recommend strategies for government, academic and commercial organizations to secure U.S. infrastructure assets worldwide.
“We are honored to be a central component of this program, which will serve as an invaluable boost to the federal government’s cybersecurity research and development efforts,” said Robin Portman, a Booz Allen executive vice president.
Booz Allen also seeks to provide engineering, analytics and technical support for defense and intelligence data management, security, modeling and simulation activities via the Air Force’s sourcing vehicle.
The company is one of 10 awardees for the full-and-open portion of the contract.
