Booz Allen Hamilton has received a three-year, $20.2 million contract to procure and deploy tactical radio network communications systems for the U.S. Army.
The company will also perform program support, technical and sustainment IT services as part of the contract with the Army Project Manager Tactical Radios and related product management offices, Booz Allen said Tuesday.
Brian McKeon, a Booz Allen Hamilton executive vice president and Army business lead, said the award aligns with the company’s strategy in the communications market.
“We are pleased PM TR selected us to continue to partner with them in their important mission to deliver, maintain and upgrade mobile ad hoc networking waveforms and network enterprise services to enhance tactical warfighting capabilities,” he added.
Booz Allen will work with the Army product leader for waveforms to develop, upgrade and maintain software-defined radio waveforms in support of the Army’s radios.
The company said it will also help the associated product management offices establish processes, training programs as well as tools and templates.
