Blue Coat Systems and Tripwire have forged an alliance that aims to provide incident response teams a new system that works to potentially reduce the number and impact of data breaches.
The agreement includes the integration of Blue Coat’s Malware Analysis and Security Analytics network and Tripwire Enterprise to make a model designed to isolate, contain and manage infected devices in a time-efficient manner, Tripwire said Wednesday.
“Seamless, unified network security and endpoint detection and response are core security requirements,” said Peter Doggart, Blue Coat vice president of business development.
Doggart added that the company hopes the integration of technologies could mutually benefit the companies and its customers through endpoint and infrastructure protection.
