The U.S. Air Force has called on industry to submit comments on a draft request for proposals for information technology service management support to the North American Aerospace Defense Command and U.S. Northern Command.
The future procurement is for services to manage, operate and maintain NORAD and Northcom’s classified and unclassified data, voice and video networks, the Air Force said in a pre-solicitation notice released Friday.
Potential contractors will support IT service strategy, design, transition, operations and continual service improvement for existing systems and systems pending installation.
The Air Force plans to award an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity, firm-fixed-price contract following the release of the final RFP.
The final RFP is scheduled for release on March 25 via the Federal Business Opportunities website.
Comments to the draft RFP are due March 10.
