Vistronix Intelligence & Technology Solutions has been awarded a five-year, $30 million contract to provide information technology and data analytics support to the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences.
The company said Friday it aims to help build analytical tools for NIEHS researchers to collect, integrate and visualize data on chemical agents under the National Toxicology Program.
The National Toxicology Program is an interagency effort to study how the environment affects the development and progression of disease in humans.
NTP also works to coordinate toxicology testing programs across the government and offers information about potentially harmful substances to healthcare agencies, scientific and medical organizations and the general public.
Vistronix has assigned a team of scientific, technical and software professionals to perform contract work.
