Visual Systems Group Inc. has received a five-year, $10 million blanket purchase agreement to provide unified communications services and technology to the Bureau of the Fiscal Service within the Treasury Department.
The company said Thursday it will design, install and maintain communications and collaboration equipment at the bureau and support standardized video teleconferencing between internal and external participants.
James Copperthite, vice president of sales and marketing at VSGi, said the company will work to integrate its videoconferencing and multimedia technology with existing BFS audiovisual environments.
VSGi will also provide insights to the bureau on the potential direction of innovation in communications technology, Copperthite added.
